A Global Facas é feita por Yoshikin, no Japão a partir dos 18 melhores aços inoxidáveis, temperado, endurecido, resistentes a ferrugens, manchas e corrosão.

Cada faca é cuidadosamente ponderada para assegurar o equilíbrio perfeito na mão. São higiênicas e seguras para os contornos das mãos eliminando toda sujeira possível. As facas Global podem ser usadas por profissionais ou amadores.



The GLOBAL line has gained a great following from chefs all over the world. We, YOSHIKIN manufacture these knives in Japan's Niigata Prefecture. YOSHIKIN began as a manufacturer of tableware, and the know-how developed through years of manufacturing table knives was extended to the one-piece construction of all-stainless kitchen knives, which at the time of their introduction, was a new concept that has taken the cooking world by storm. At present the market for these knives extends to many countries, and in recent years we have begun participating as sponsor in various events through which chefs of the world are able to deepen their professional and personal relations. We are particularly eager to contribute to the advancement of young chefs.

Our first such cooperative effort was co-sponsorship of the 30th WACS (World Association of Cooks Societies) World Congress in Kyoto, held in March, 2002. With a focus on Western cuisine, WACS assembles chefs from all over the world. Once every two years the best country is elected, and representatives of each of the member countries (approximately 700 persons from about 70 countries) convene to exchange opinions with the aim of helping the industry to further develop and advance. As parallel events of the Congress, each sponsor has an exhibition booth through which relations with chefs are developed. When YOSHIKIN participated in this event and introduced the GLOBAL knives, the response was immense. It became clear that not only was there widespread familiarity with the GLOBAL series, many chefs had adopted this series as their personal, exclusive-use knife brand.



Because of that experience, we, YOSHIKIN decided to become a more regular participant in events that would allow us to support the chefs who had so enthusiastically expressed their support for us. In March 2004 we once again had a booth exhibit at the 31st WACS World Congress in Dublin, Ireland, and displayed samples of GLOBAL knives. Our exhibit was particularly well received by young chefs, and we received valuable opinions concerning many products.

In January, 2005, we also participated as sponsor in the 10th Bocuse d'Or - World Cuisine Contest, an event held by Paul Bocuse once every two years. In addition to operating an exhibition booth, we presented each competitor with GLOBAL knives and received high praise here as well.

YOSHIKIN is determined to continue contributing ever more to the advancement of the cooking profession, while also placing great importance on fellowship with international chefs.
